Let's start a thread on recommendations for English dubbed anime.
Yes, I know the quality isn't as good, but it's still my native language, and I enjoy them more when I'm focused on the animation and not the subtitles.
My favorites in the past have been:
Baccano! - focuses on the stories of different characters in the Prohibition Era of America. Originating back to 1711, a group of alchemists seeking eternal youth are given a special potion by a mysterious demon, making them immortal. However, alchemists began disappearing, and realizing the danger of being close to one another they scatter around the world.
Now in the 1930's, all of the immortals have come together once again. Baccano! tells the stories of each of these immortals, ranging from alchemists, street gangs, thieves, FBI agents and even the mafia.
Durarara - The author Narita and illustrator Yasuda Suzuhito's "distorted love story" is set in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and revolves around an ensemble cast including street thugs, high school students, a female radio host, an underworld doctor, a young information vendor, and a headless Irish fairy.
Steins;gate - The story of Steins;Gate takes place in Akihabara and is about a group of friends who have managed to customize their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named CERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.
Eden of the East - On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called "Careless Monday", does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten. Then, three months later... Morimi Saki, a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip, gets into trouble in front of the White House in Washington DC, and only the unexpected intervention of a fellow countryman saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Takizawa Akira, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and a mobile phone in the other. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.
Eureka SeveN - Eureka Seven tells the story of a 14 year-old named Renton who lives with his mechanic grandfather, and whose life is thrown somewhat off-kilter when a mech called Nirvash crashes into his house one day and a young girl called Eureka pops up asking for help to repair it. Shortly after, the military mechs get involved.

Eureka SeveN was the first anime I ever fell in love with. The way the characters grew and connected just clicked for me, and really started my love of anime.
Durarara, followed by Baccano!, became my favorite type of anime. The character dynamically changing around intriguing plots in short, sweet series are what I started looking for in other anime. Also, the voice acting in Baccano! was beautiful.
Steins;gate changed my opinion once again, that an anime could be more than titter between fight scene, really made me think. I love the deep philosophical implications, and the scifi based theories. Really great show.
I also watch and enjoy some moe like K-on! and Angel Beats (kinda), when I'm in the mood for something lighter. The relationships between characters is beautiful.
Another stipulation of mine, I have a bit of a high-quality fetish. Not only do I download only bluray/flac releases, but I want the animation to be clean and crisp, usually of this century. But, beggars cant be choosers, and I do watch older stuff if the quality is there.
If you cant tell already, I'm still pretty new to anime, so hit me up with a recommendation! Here's my anime planet profile, which I solely use to keep track of what I've watched.
