Identification, please

There used to be this cool anime I watched as a child (so it's not a new series) about two girls, I think it was an outer-space themed thing, definitely had battles, the girls could either reincarnate or transfer their conscience into a new 'host' and I believe it had a yuri streak too. One of them was named Etoille.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?

And the "yuri streak" only exists in the OP/ED; there's nothing ín that vein in the actual story.

Well, there is the one episode where (click to show/hide)Lumiere is having her mental breakdown after being resurrected and Eclair says something about Lumiere being "her girl," and then delivers some grape juice mouth-to-mouth.
Anyway, for the OP; There is another show with both an Etoile and yuri, which is Strawberry Panic. No space themes or fighting though, just a standard slice of life yuri show.
