Looking for an anime that used to air on Adult Swim I believe.

The MC is a dude who can use some sort of power to amplify his right arm (his arm gets red armor on it and his hand turns into a claw i believe) the MC's rival is a dude who can control some remote purple minion or something.

The guy in Highschool DxD gets an arm weapon thingy too, if you just like that kinda thing in general. Oh and if you want a whole anime of it then Witchblade. Though, that one only starts as an arm thing then completely takes over.
