kind of reminds me of the shinigami from death note, but it does look intriguing. . .

That's a character from the late 90's early 00's American SF series called Farscape. The main antagonist Scorpius in fact.



I'm fairly certain, the colouring is a little off.

It's an excellent series, very Doctor Who-ish. I highly recommend it.

That's exactly the problem of the series: it's too childish to be called excellent.

Well, that's a distinct possibility, it has enough inconsistencies to only be Scorpius-like.



I found this while Googling Scorpius, although the person who posted it didn't know who it was supposed to be either and made the same guess I did while claiming he/she was sure it wasn't.

The owl and the alien woman seem connected to him, take from that what you will.
