I'm surprised this is allowed, not that I'm complaining or anything. When I first found out about the evaluation I had downloaded a painstaking 80~90 GB of data and seeded only 5 or 10 GB back, it was a long haul but eventually I carried myself to a 1.0 ratio, this probably would've helped.

You also have the option of freeleeching, but I sense those are a tad bit slower to assist with your ratio.

What makes you think that? I challenge you to argue that, when freeleech:
-Does not touch your ratio when you download, and
-As a direct result, gives other people less reason to avoid downloading it, therefore
-Typically results in a larger leech count.

I read in one of our threads that there were a lot of leechers that weren't actually downloading the entire torrent of Bakemonogatari (a crude example), so they were technically never reached the point where it would indicate them as a seeder when in reality they actually were, so leecher numbers were inflated.

There's definitely no harm done with Freeleech, so all of your points are valid, I was just stating my experience (and the thread I read) that there might be some caveats to it.

Freedom Kira:
Sure, you might run into phantom leechers, but that has no bearing on the point at hand. By leech count, I wasn't referring to the actual number in the statistics, but the actual number of people leeching.

vuzedome:
And I thought the days of such topics are long over.
