Started my account today, can't seem to be able to seed...

Do not post your public key and downloading publicly only to switch back to your personal key cheats only yourself.

That's probably because they are all OSTs, which don't have many leechers. How would you seed if there's no one to leech?

Ah man... this comes up like every day. Let's see if I can come up with one of those wonderful newy analogies...

Let's say that you own a pizza shop. Someone walking down the street is hungry and wants a pizza. But now we also have to consider that every other vendor on the street is also a pizza shop and there are 300 of them. Where is that hungry guy that wants a pizza going to stop to get his pizza?

In short, just because you're "seeding" doesn't mean you're going to seed. There needs to be people that are trying to get the data for you to be able to send it to them, and even then if there are so many "pizza shops" it just deceases the chances that they're going to stop in yours. You should also keep in mind that not all "leechers" are actually actively downloading a file. Many of them have only selectively downloaded some of a torrent. Let's say someone downloaded 7 out of 8 songs and they have that last one set to "don't download" - that guy is still shown as a "leecher" even though you're never going to seed to him.

Yes, I understand how that works, but all the files I downloaded have leechers at the moment. Is it normal my utorrent says, in all files, DHT - not allowed; Local Peer Discovery - not allowed; Peer Exchange - not allowed? It's not even detecting a single peer in the lists...
I understand that there's a lot more seeders than leechers on some of the files, I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong...

^Yep, that's normal. Private tracker torrents, like BakaBT's will show you that.

You mean it's showing 0 seeds and 0 leechers in your torrent client? That doesn't sound normal. You might have your firewall/router configured incorrectly or something if that's the case.
