Thoughts about anime from those who know nothing about it.

I always thought not a lot of people watched anime until I brought it up with friends and they all ended up watching it as well. Also, a lot of people who play League of Legends watch anime for some reason. I've made some good friends through that as well.
As for people I know who don't watch anime and I want to show them something to get them to think it's not childish, I usually get them to watch anime movies. Something like Ookami Kodomo, Princess Mononoke or Redline.
