Anime universities/colleges
« on: July 25, 2013, 04:39:22 PM »
As the title says, i am looking for anime that are set in college/univesity. The genre doesn't really matter. Examples: Moyashimon, Hachimitsu to Clover.

EDIT: I'd like an anime that is about getting your degree or about actually studying, like in Moyashimon if anyone saw it. High school is good too, and long as the main focus of the anime is about studying something, or something like Welcome to the N.H.K which is actually about a shut-in which dropped out of college.  And thanks everyone for the recommendations.

Chocotto Sister
Doujin work

Both have main characters who are in college but both also have like two scenes set in college, in the whole length of the series.  :P

Because we can!

+1 to Tatami Galaxy
Genshiken. Can't comment on the new season yet though.
Bakuman. covers from early high school through young adulthood. They're college students for a good chunk of the series. They just never go.

Rare, taking over a failing class would fit the best, otherwise there are class clubs where you learn something, or rarely where someone is studying in spite of what is going on.

Dragon Zakura: A lawyer takes over a failing class.
Shrine of the morning mist: Studying to be shrine maidens to protect the school.
Mahou Tsukai: OVA and then series, Magic club
Sora no woto: Military squad instead of school.
Chu-bra: Trying start an underwear club.
Tonari no Kaibutsu: Studying in spite of what is going on.
Ro-Kyu-Bu!: High kid becomes the basketball coach for the girls elementary school team
Infinite Stratos: Future school training people to fight in a robot sport.
Girls und Panzer: Alternate world where girls fight with tanks in contests as a school club.
Grrl power: School dropouts, hired to get a school dropout back in school.
Uchuu no Stellvia: Space school for attempting to protect earth from a disaster.

I recall the lead male being in college, but that's about it.
