Using Halite, is it good for seeding?
(1/1)
thatwasonce:
I am using halite 3.1
I seem to only seed every so often and with not much speed.
I have 30mbps/5mbps and live in Indiana
Any recommendations on how to seed more?
There may be this info in the FAQ, not sure, I dislike Utorrent with a passion, it is no longer very lite at all.
For awhile I was using Transmission-QT a windows port of transmission but I only saw the linux version on the supported list.
You don't have to type out any answer you could just link me since I could have probably found this information, but hey, we all start as noobs sometime. :D
In a week I plan to "adopt a torrent" Haha I already feel bad that I only uploaded bellow 2gb when i took 37gb, but seeding does take time I guess.
;) thanks
watching my peers list, I see alot of "has choked us"
Van.:
For highly overseeded torrent like Naruto, 2GB a day is not so bad at all.
Just keep seeding and everything will be fine.
And don't judge of uTorrent by 3.x versions, they are really a piece of s...
2.2.1 and earlier versions actually quite good.
Big Teeth:
uTorrent 2.2.1 is indeed the right way to go.
Adopting some torrent won't help you a lot with seeding/ratio, adopting is for a different purpose.
