I noticed a post about horror without gore, but that's not what I mean here. After watching
Aku no Hana, I began to wonder if any other anime could get quite as brutal with its interpersonal relationships. A no holds barred emotionally destructive atmosphere, whether it be between two characters or two groups of characters. A frank deconstruction of the characters will do in a pinch, such as this old, classic, you've already seen it anime
