Just a question about user accounts

Hey guys. I was just wondering what the point is behind having accounts attached to your seeding rate? If there any benefit? I dont want to sound like an ass but I am actually very serious. BakaBT lets you download the torrents weather you a member or not. Same speeds and everything. There isnt any bonus content right, that im missing?

The "bonus" is getting to be part of an awesome community. Plus you get to use features like having a wishlist, or bookmarking torrents as well as receiving notification on torrents. You also can review everything you have or are currently getting and all the info that comes along with it i.e. How much you have downloaded and or uploaded.  Oh yeah you also get bonus points, And did I mention that whole entire awesome community thing?

It's surprising how much people are motivated to seed by a small number and a frowny face.

Plus, if there were no accounts and no awesome community, the number of seeders would definitely drop drastically.

Besides, you have an account. Try contributing to the community and see how it makes you feel.

Edit: There's also the advanced browsing "bonus".
