I've done goofed...

Azelas:
Good evening.
I am new to this most excellent of sites.

I do know, all too well. I ought have read through the FAQ, as well as "Rules" and "Wiki" more thoroughly. It was foolhardy of me not to.
I went ahead and grabbed a good 20 torrents (yesterday). I am now seeding each and every one of them, hoping to get my "share ratio" back on it's feet 'gain (which as of now, is at a mere 0.331, or some such).

I've already had a good read through a many of the forum's questions regarding alike issues as that of mine, but to little avail. Hence I came here, seeking more terse advice.

Does this mean I will be banned? Is there still time to redeem myself, for my reckless conducts? By seeding alone, would that be of any aid, in terms of bettering my present standing?

Nota bene: I am currently using µTorrent's "3.3.1" version ; is it compatible? I read not so long ago, that "3,3" is. but know not what is meant by that...

You have my thanks!

Like you say you should, you can read about account restrictions in the Wiki.

If you continue to seed, and stick to freeleech* at the moment, you probably won't experience any punishments.
*to find what's freeleech, search for it in the Wiki.

Edit: uTorrent 3.3.* is compatible, but not recommended because it has several bugs and worse performance than the 2.* series. Instead, it is generally recommended to switch to 2.2.1, which you can find at Oldapps.

Azelas:
By "freeleech", would you by chance simply mean for me to "keep on seeding". I am not too well informed on technical matters such as.
A definition I found, but failed to comprehend: "what you download will not be counted".

My thanks.

failboat:
Feel free to try to find the same torrent on other trackers, if anything just for the sake of seeding them here. I'm pretty sure that's allowed, at least I've done that a few times before and I'm not banned yet. Freeleech torrents work in the same way, you get nothing added to your download but do add to your upload ratio for what you do seed.

It's not that hard to build up a "buffer" if you don't mind snatching a few things you might not be interested in just for the sake of seeding them.

As failboat said, your ratio won't get worse if you only download freeleech torrents.
