^ specially the remake 2011, the execution is much cleaner, although theres quite some notable reduction in some aspects like the brutal scenes, gores and stuff.
Hunter X Hunter (original) might as well be R16 in that aspect.

To me iot sounds like you need to give One Piece another chance, its a bit slow starting, at least 30eps before it gets going for real. But after that you will start to understand why its the hands down best selling manga by miles.
