Supposedly a TV special based on pokemon red and green is going to air on october 2nd. Production I.G is doing it.

Hopefully this is popular and they decide to make it into a full series. Maybe then we can kiss Ash goodbye forever and say hello to Red.

I wonder if it'll get as dark/mature as the manga.

That would be cool.

I am surprised there hasn't been a war between "pokemon" and people. I mean, out of the things I've seen, they exhibit intelligence equivalent to that of an ape or a dolphin at least and some legendary pokemon can actually speak the human language to a very high degree.

Seeing a war with the legendary intelligent pokemon as generals, and the stupid ape level ones as grunts/shock troops would be awesome.

Humans would stand no chance. It'd be like SnK but with a lot more despair lol.

One of the manga versions actually is dark and mature. The pokemon bleed when they are injured and some pokemon die when they get heavily damaged in the fights. There are also some nudity, and a little romance.

To bad I can't remember the name of the manga, and when I did remember its name I couldnt find a translated version, japanese ones only :(

If someone knows wich one Im talking about, and do know where to find a english version... GIEF, I would give some of my soul to read it  :o

I never expected that out of Pokemon, it sounds very intriguing :)

Insanely nostalgic.

From Green's rivalry to meeting him in the forest and then that theme plays. I can't wait for more episodes.
