Noob Question about torrent (Not mine) being listed as banned but still active

Hello, I am sorry if this is the wrong section..

But..

 http://bakabt.me/details.php?id=130804&page=4#comments is listed as "banned" but it is still active.. I am so confused.

This is a torrent that is no longer downloadable from the site but still works if you downloaded the torrent file before it was banned. It's probably so that people who are halfway done the torrent aren't forced to delete it, which would be a waste of bandwidth and unfair to the leechers who would have a lower ratio for no good reason.

It used to be less obvious that a torrent was "banned," but I guess someone changed something in the site code because people got confused and kept asking about it.

It's also a torrent listed here. That should be the kicker.

Edit: to clarify, I'm not staff and have no authority on banning torrents.

So it slipped through the cracks and took until a day after I downloaded it to ban it? hah

Well I am glad I downloaded it before it was removed. It would have been annoying to have to look at other sites to try and find a pack for it.


edit: hah I noticed you or another mod banned the last one that was missed after I posted this thread
