Problem with ratio

So I saw I got warning about having very low ratio. How I'm suppose to keep it up?

My upload max speed is ~20kb/s
My download max speed is 1.2mb/s

It basically means Il have to seed for very long period of time before being able to download anything at all T_T?

Or there are any tips or way.. because I cant do anything about my crap upload (since my home cant have any better)

Follow up on Al's tip, or realize that BakaBT is a public tracker and torrents can be DL by non-members/when not logged in.
