Looking for anime or harems where the guy actually chooses.

Check out Peach Girl. It's the girl that has to choose and it's only between two guys so it's not quite a large harem but it is quite good.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Toradora!, and Zero no Tsukaima sort of fit the category. Check them out.
Triltaison:
Keitaro does pick in the Love Hina manga and you get an XX years later epilogue showing the result of the choice. No idea about the anime adaptation, but I don't think it covers the end.
Air had him pick, and it's by the Clannad people so you might like it.

Oh yeah, I have all the Love Hina manga, and anime. I totally forgot about that. He always knew who he wanted though, and it was always clear, so I forgot all about it.
I've seen Air as well. Forgot about that. Damn, I'm bad at remembering things.

These don't quite count as harem since they're love triangles but it's all I can think of.
