Can't upload and active torrents incorrect on profile

Hi,

Before I start I would like to let you know i've read the FAQ multiple times and have failed to find anything that works through search. My ports have also been forwarded.

I had recently done a reformat of my computer and redownloaded the torrents I was uploading from my previous machine. This was all working fine until I updated my utorrent to 3.3.2.

I was no longer able to upload torrents. I looked at my tracker which advised I checked the whitelist. So I did. I then downloaded utorrent 2.2 (something whitelisted) and noticed I still couldnt upload. I deleted my torrents and redownloaded them again and still had the same issue.

I repeated this process again but with utorrent 1.8.5 which is widely recommended in this forum. Since it didnt work, I uninstalled it and took the advice of completely removing the settings from C:/User/%you%/AppData/Roaming/utorrent. This removed my utorrent settings successfully, yet I am still having the same issue.

I had then noticed that my profile is presenting my active torrents as me attempting to upload 15 torrents. At this point I had a fresh install of utorrent with no seeded torrents. I generated a new passkey, but this hasn't resolved the inconsistencies between my profile and my torrent client.

I downloaded a small 100mb file in BakaBT to confirm if I could download/upload torrents. I could only upload (2.7kb fastest since this started happening) while downloading. Once the torrent seeded, again unable to upload.

When my torrents were active, they would find a peer and immediately lose connection. My average upload is usually 80kb/s, now its reduced to 0.01kb/s. I believe this is because the client makes a connection and losing it immediately.

Even with no running torrent app, it still displays I'm uploading.

What's the error message from the tracker?

No error anymore since I changed client. Still cant upload and profile isnt in sync with client details.

Oh good, someone who can actually read resources before asking questions. We like people like you.

I would first try shutting everything off, and then shut off your entire network - routers, modem, etc. Wait about five minutes, then turn everything back on. Write down all your stats in your client and on your BakaBT profile, and then leave it on overnight. In the morning, check the changes in numbers.

What client were you using before? It sounds like you're new to uTorrent because of all the trouble you went through with it.

Also, inconsistencies between your client and tracker stats are not uncommon, but it's rare for a user to first notice it immediately after an OS reinstall. Very interesting.

I was using uTorrent previously. At the moment my profile and client are in sync (fixed itself after many hours, i know cuz i checked reguarly lol). Unforunatley im uploading very slow.

Slow upload is pretty normal around here. It's odd that you're only noticing this after your reinstall - should have been slow regardless.

Ahh cool, after turning off my router i'm back to my 80kb - 100kb upload. Must of been something between my what my router was doing and BakaBT torrents.

I often have to reboot the router, maybe once per week just to make sure it doesn't choke on the torrent traffic...
