Need help, cant upload!
« on: October 22, 2013, 02:41:24 PM »
Hello, it's my first post.

I have HUGE problem: In past i could normally upload about 10-30 GB (gigabytes) daily, but since few weeks I can hardly upload 1-5 MB daily. (YES, its not mistake, I mean I cant even upload 5 MEGABYTES). I have no slightest Idea what happened, what caused this sudden change. No matter how many torrents I seed, no matter how much my Utorrent says Im uploading, my bakabt ratio wont move.
Please help me, tasukete, my ratio is getting shi#tier and shi#tier each day and i cant do a thing about it. Zetsuboushita!

PS: If this is bad place to post it, pls forgive me.

I'm using 3.3. build 29625. Is something wrong with this version?
By the way... I started to think that it  must be bakabt bug, not my client nor internet connection (which is very good). Might it be?

Are you sure that your ISP doesn't have a limit on download/uploading? they might have lowered your speed, because you hit the limit?

Nope, Sir. It's regular connection with no weird limits. Online speedtest says my download speed is 50 mb/s and upload speed is about 10 mb/s which is  exactly what i paid them for. No, the fault here is definitely NOT my net connection. Nor utorrent because I have'nt changed anything in settings...

I really don't know what to think about this case, its real weird :/

What does restarting have to do with continuous case that started weeks ago and last till now?
But I will answer this weird question anyways: Yes I restarted dozens of time  like any normal human being. Do You know anyone  that keeps his computer on all the time? I bet, no.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean anything bad, I just find this question a tiny bit silly :P

Actually, a lot more people on this forum do than you think. It helps with ratio upkeep. Personally mine is a bit like a server, and my last restart was probably a month ago or longer. I restart my client every couple weeks or so.

As to how it has to do with anything, torrenting can sometimes mess up network traffic and restarting should clear that up. Restarting your router and modem once in a while is also good practice (that would be the logical next step).

Anyway, temporarily try another client, including an older version of uTorrent (2.2.1 or 1.8.5) and see if the problem persists. If you uninstall uTorrent first and don't clear your cache and settings, you should be able to start right back up (though you'd have to redownload your .torrent files if you try a new client).

My computer gets turned off every time there's a power outage... That's about it though.

As for your upload, I don't see why you're in such a panic. You would have to download
almost 900GB to drop below a .5 ratio and actually be in a bad spot. You have tons of time
to fix whatever issue you're having, no need to get frantic! =)

And, of course, you're too lazy to read the rules?

Ummm, what? uTorrent is allowed, and there aint anything about it being forbidden.
And please, don't call someone lazy before you understand his case. I reinstalled/updated my client only because someone suggested so....

v @down. Yeah, with older version it works OK, now I need to see if it uploads as much as  it should.
Sorry for wasting your times, sometimes I just miss something you say and it makes me look stupid, hehe :P

I uninstalled my utorrent and installed the newest version.
If you have not noticed, the newest version of uTorrent is not whitelisted yet.

Anyway, temporarily try another client, including an older version of uTorrent (2.2.1 or 1.8.5) and see if the problem persists.

My record is only 43 days because of 5 second long power outages :(
I need to get a UPS.

The highest I've seen is 10 years.

Ok, now I tried about dozen older versions, non of them caused  the problem to disappear. The one thing I know for sure, is that this problem is NOT related to my client. It aint something with my net connection either. I can normally seed for rutracker and the upload is ok.
So, anyone, someone maybe know what's going on? Or its people, who suddenly out of nowhere stopped downloading, so i cant upload either?
This is really weird case, I dont even care about my ratio anymore, I just wanna know what is this crap about.

I leave my computer on for months at a time. Hopefully around 3-4 before a restart.
