what do you mean by incomplete? does that mean i have to seed the entire series?

Yes. The definition of seed is that you have and are UL everything. I you make a partial DL and keep it up, you will not be considered as a seed.

To expand on ConsiderPhlebas' post: The tracker has no way of telling the difference between a partial seeder and a leecher, therefore classifying both as leechers.
It is in the Wiki.

I've been seeding for well over 12 hours and have done at least 7 gigs, but there has been no change to my ratio

It's kind of odd that you can seed anything at all on that torrent, since it's incomplete. You must have been warned while you had your client up and running and haven't stopped it since, because once you reset your connections, the tracker won't let you connect to peers anymore on that torrent until your warning is lifted.

What you have here appears to be evidence that the tracker will ignore all reported stats from a user's incomplete torrents while he/she is warned.

I don't want to be hasty but it looks like i solved the problem. Yesterday i installed FFP and Transmission 2.82 on my NAS and it looks like its reporting correctly to the tracker... At least for now.
