It's not true. E.g. log out from BakaBT, and use Google to search for Shoujo Sect.

I think it's that we can't view the hentai board while logged out.

You cannot search for hentai, while logged out. If you already have the link (grab while logged in / get via google) you can do anything else a normal "guest" can do.
AFAIK, that is all the difference is.

Hentai still isn't listed by the main torrent browser within BakaBT when you're not logged in, but Google still lists the individual pages, so it's not a significant barrier.
Edit --> Whup, typed that exactly when Krudda did, apparently - lol.
