However when the majority of the adults of past generation waste all their time in front of TV watching some shit mixed with ton of commercials, it totally "normal".

People are driven to depression and rioting by the arbitrary results of sporting events, idolize men destroying their bodies for their entertainment, and surround themselves in athletic team iconography as if holy, and this is considered normal. Whereas other fandoms, not just anime, are treated as an existential threat to socialization and masculinity. If you like superhero comics, video games, science fiction, fantasy novels, musicals, table top roleplaying games, LARPing. or anything other than the usual bro-shit you'll have half the internet questioning your sexuality and calling you a basement dwelling virgin in turn.
People are not asocial due to their hobbies. They are not heterosexual because they drink beer, watch action movies, and go to the big game. There is more to a person than what they like or dislike in the sphere of culture.

and yet people still have not learned there lesson after how many thousands of years!
you have all been raised in the 21st century, where once things were deemed impossible, yet now they are a fact of life. . .here you have the answer. Nearly everybody does not seem to get it, or realize what they have. . .
why make it all so complicated. . .if something makes you smile or happy then do it, to a degree obviously . . .but even that leads one further and is a whole nother topic.
so no. . .nothing is impossible. . .more like is the time right for it or not.
do you have more important matters to attend to? do they make you as happy as watching Anime? how about dividing your time accordingly?
