Too old for anime?

5Cats:
Never! Never too old for quality stories.

There's "sweet F-A" on TV lately. 2-3 shows a week worth the trouble of watching. There's literally tons of Anime to suit every taste  Thank you Japan!

Almost 50, started serious anime watching 3 years ago. (very occasional before, usually movies)

Zalis116:
There's no magical cosmic cutoff point that declares you "too old" for a given hobby, assuming it's legal of course. Why is 24 suddenly too old? Why not 23 or 25? I was 21 when I seriously got into anime 10 years ago, and I don't think I was too old either then or now. And I see good numbers of people my age or older when I go to conventions.

Also, merely giving up a hobby you love won't instantly improve your romantic fortunes, social life, or employment situation/prospects. It'll just leave a gaping hole in your life unless you've got other, more "acceptable" interests lined up to take its place. But others in the thread have already shot down the idea of "acceptable" interests.

Micharus:
No such thing as being too old for anime.

I've started to watch anime again after having gone off it for a while, in fact you could say I'm having a 'binge' right now, as I've watched several series in the last week or so.

Just finished watching "Hatsukoi Unlimited" which is definitely aimed squarely at girls/ladies and is so 'sweet' it will make your teeth hurt. lol

My age you say? 47.  ;)

megido-rev.M:
I say the people who think they're to old for anime are missing out.
