Too old for anime?

NEVER!
XSTREM:
The day I feel like I am too old for watching anime, I have a nice little pill with cyanid just within reach.
I would rather die than to be old, grey and feel like "I am too old for something" - everybody who thinks they're "too old for something", even playing with Lego for that matter, should stop up and see the big flashing red lights. Most of the time, it is not because you feel too old to do something; it's the anxiety that if -someone- found out you were doing this (watching anime for instance) they would taunt you and call you immature and rip your masculinity away; real maturity is to be able to step up for yourself and defend what you enjoy. If YOU set the frame, others WILL follow. If people sense you're insecure about something, they will be insecure with you aswell.
So find out what you like; THAT IS YOU! So be yourself and give a flying fuck of the opinion of others - we all do something "not normal" but we all try to hide it away from eachother.
But anyway, what do I know. I'm still an immature 22 year old guy, but please somebody slap me really hard if I ever change my opinion on that matter. :)

Duck Dodgers:
Your never too old. I'm 46 and I've been watching anime since I was 13.
However, I also have a wife and daughter. Interpersonal relationships are important.
Bob2004:
Over here, virtually everyone watches at least a bit anime, and even more people read manga, no matter what age they are. When I catch the train to uni in the mornings, there will invariably be at least one, often several, salarymen engrossed in some manga or other, or somehow managing to read the latest issue of Shounen Jump despite how crowded the trains get.
Admittedly Japan is a bit different to the west, but even so - you are most definitely not too old for it, even if there were such a thing as being too old in the first place. It's just a cultural difference in terms of what formats have become popular, really, rather than anything to do with age.
The Corf:
i'd say you weren't too old, lot of posters here are older than us both, me being 18 only. but i'd also say that you should not be too picky about friends, find a common interest to talk about and see where that leads you, i took a big step and found a girl that i only knew had a common interest in gaming and we clicked and she is now my best friend and i don't regret ever talking to her (also i am very new to this forum so no idea how the general posters are here but from what i saw in this thread they seem nice so i don't think they'd think i am friendzoned, which i aren't since it would require me to have such feelings for her which i don't)
sorry i went off topic, but man, you have to try and see if you can find someone to talk to, you'll know if you click or not.
never too old for anime.
