Anime Subtitles
« on: December 25, 2013, 06:58:11 PM »
Hey, I did a search and all that jazz. I always used a search engine but I'm coming up blank on finding subs for an OVA, but I can find the OVA streaming with subs? The other thing is the OVA is in 4 parts but I can only find part 1 streaming. This is for Attack on Titan.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find the subtitles? I've also looked on http://www.nyaa.se/

Thank you

Wikipedia says there are 2 OVAs, the 2nd of which will come out on April 9, 2014.

Correct, I was talking about the "Bonus episodes" as an OVA. There are 5 parts and 3 have been release. I have seen some of the 4 "days" release but not 5-7. I didn't understand what was happing. Any idea where I can get the subs?

I don't know where to begin since the question is so poorly formulated and in the wrong section as well as in the wrong thread.
You first need to learn how to watch anime without streaming.

There's but one released OVA for shingeki no kyojin. It's found fairly easily on known anime torrent websites. Not sure what this part 5-7 means but it's probably due to the bad stream website you've got your hands on...

I was asking where I can find subtitles for some episodes of the bonus videos for attack on titan. What section should I put that in?
I don't care about the streaming websites, but I was using it as an example of what I could find.

Have you tried going to http://anidb.net and searching it out, then looking at the groups that have done it (listed on the page) and then go to those fansub groups' sites? (listed on the sub group's personal info page)
I'll do the flipping on webcam so people know it's legit.

Thanks for the great advice.
I didn't find anything other than the offical OVA. I checked on http://hi10anime.com/ and http://deadfish-encod.es/ and http://www.saizen-fansubs.com/

And finially found what I was looking for on http://kaitou-fansubs.com/ and http://hatsuyuki-fansubs.com/

It's killing me... what was it that you found? The OVA? or the dumb specials?

Actually both. I had the OVA but not a good quality version with subs, and the specials...and a good source for the next OVA.

Not sure about forum policies, but before this thread is locked google tokyo toshokan and/or nyaatorrents. Would've saved you a lot of time.

Is not nyaa.se the same as nyaatorrents

I is confused. If you "searched nyaatorrents" how come you are now welcoming the suggestion? Did you really search, or did you just write it into the OP in the hopes nobody stated the obvious because you clearly had not searched?

Not trying to be rude, but this just strikes me as not adding up.

No worries on the confusion, because after looking at what you suggested (I learned things) and being told to go to  http://anidb.net again I figured out how that site could help me more. It has been a learning process. I have been using torrents for years but every category of torrents seems to be a little different on how sites and release groups run.

I started off the same, pretty much. Being around BakaBT helped immensely, stick around. Eventually it pays off to listen to the community :D
