Description: The manga revolves around Nike, the determined princess of the Rain Dukedom who has a mysterious power: she can control rainfall. After losing a game of rock, paper, scissors to her older sisters, she is forced to unwillingly marry the king of the Sun Country, Livius I. Livius (or Livi for short) conquered the world in three years, and is known as the "Dreadful King." However, when Nike meets him for the first time, she finds to her surprise that he is a boy younger than she is. Livius abruptly asks Nike to call forth the rain, and when she refuses, he has her thrown in jail. The story follows the two who, while at first are a married couple only in name, gradually begin to establish an emotional bond with one another.

First episode was very good. A princess with the ability to kick some serious ass. And uh, yeah. That's about all I can remember. It was pretty sweet though.

Every time I hear the Tender Rain, I am thinknig two thoughts. One is Macross; "Listen to My Rain!" lol the other is, the singer knows English pretty well, so the sung in English words are only odd sounding not completely incomprehensible. Like she's French and singing through her nose kind of thing.

THe show isn't bad. I like how it doesn't feel quite as superficial as maybe it had me thinking from reading the blurb on it.

I find it very amusing that this mystical, legendary magic rain summoning song is actually just incredibly dodgy generic J-Pop. They could have at least tried to find a more fitting song, surely...
