Over 100 isn't a lot. Some people here have seen a lot more and they can lead you on the good path of anime.
I have my gripes with attack on tity which are somewhat similar to yours. It is not a masterpiece and it doesn't deserve it's hype.I'm sorry you were lied.It happens.
But a string of bad shows shouldn't force you to abandon anime.<Insert Hang In there Baby pic>.Tell us what you like.

Don't get frustrated with negative replies. Some people love to troll even if they have to do it in a hypocrites(spelling help?) way.At least the attack thread wasn't on the front page.

Have you tried Appleseed, Black Lagoon, Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen,Gantz (don't expect a conclusion in the anime. The manga is finishes though.), Ghost in the Shell,Vampire Hunter D, Wolf's Rain, Xam'd Lost memories ?
+FMA, Magi, Basilisk

A lot of anime are left open ended to continue at another time through another season, AoT is no different. If you really want to you can go read the manga to get the answers, but a second season is almost definitely on it's way soon. The anime can't continue unless there is enough source material to do so, and at the time that season one ended, there wasn't nearly enough.

It sounds like you are one of those people after 100 series you've found out that you don't enjoy the majority of anime anymore. There are a lot of people like that. Seek out a genre that interests you, post it here, and we will spam you with recs.

1. You obviously should drop watching anime, it's not good for you and doesn't fulfil your expectations.

2. Shingeki no Koyjin will get a second season eventually. The manga will end eventually. Whether or not questions will be answered to the fans' expectations. Well, that's an entirely different question.

The reason why they ended things there is due to two things:

a) they wanted to capitalize on its popularity which is why we got a 20+ eps season as soon as possible

b) they don't want to create an original ending so they ended it after 20+ eps, perhaps due to the mangaka's request

It sounds like you're very new to anime and how its storytelling works. I mean, we had to wait 5 years for Inuyasha to continue. 7 years for Hajime no Ippo to continue after its initial season and then 4 years more after New Challenger. Very unorthedoux way to tell a story, but sadly how things are because of the need for manga material to build up so we can have a properly told story without fillers.

I would recommend TV dramas for you, but instead of long waits you're instead treated to shows getting cancelled all the time.

Wow hey Tatsu being a dick and talking about topics utterly irrelevant to the thread, why am I not surprised.

@OP: I feel you man, I often feel like I've watched all the anime that exist within my tastes, possibly excluding a dozen or so at the most.

But you know, every now and then a new anime pops up that really catches my interest and it turns out to be good. Only one or two a year though. Like last year there was Uchouten Kazoku.

I first started feeling this way some time in 2012. Ever since then I shifted my attention to manga, and I'm not talking about the long running action or romance types. Unlike anime, there are untold hundreds of amazing and well written buried gems in manga, with topics that never get touched upon in anime. Most of them are short and compact reads to boot.

So, you know, just a thought...maybe you could try getting into manga.
