Your Anime Double Standards?
Nikkoru:
I wouldn't classify either Trigun or FMA as action-comedies. Vash acts silly to hide his unhappiness and grief, its a facade he wears which is gradually broken and repaired. Full Metal Alchemist, while having some comedic moments, is immersed in pretty dark subject matters which are reflected in the majority of the series.
An action comedy is something like Gintama, Angel Densetsu, Beelzebub, Ben-To, Burn-Up, Dog Days, and possibly Fairy Tail. While they might have turns to the dramatic and dark, these are exceptions to the general light and inconsequential tone of the series.
shabutie:
Its the art that really irks me. I'm fine with it when comedies do it. But not action.
I'm not sure what its called when they do it (almost like chibi art style ?). Characters faces go askew, they cry literal waterfalls, and shit like that . I know trigun and FMA both do this often. And yeah, that's my double standard.

Yeah, as stated, this stuff doesn't bother me much when I'm looking to watch a slice of life comedy type show, but when I'm watching something more on the actiony/serious side, it really loses my interest.
juggalojohn:
my only one is I only will watch/read yuri but not yaoi.
sackii:
I'll watch pretty much anything but yaoi or hardcore cring-heavy melancholic romance. Wait am I doing this backwards?
I'll try again : I prefer female MCs and epic storylines of grandeur. ("end of the world"-like stakes, hopefully not too cheesy).
edit : I loved Aoi Hana and Bokura Ga Ita (or something, I forgot), maybe it's just yaoi after all.

That would be called hypocrisy ;D.

Oh, I see the poll's reset. Just in time too :D.
Anyway, I definitely hate NTR, but I'm OK with yuri NTR. e.g.
