first, look in your SITE PROFILE, not your FORUM PROFILE.

hi to all of you(guys)..

I'm desperate getting my ratio to work correctly.
I pretty much did everything listed in the faqs and saw all the posts......
but no results.
I can download and seed just fine, but my status doesn't update......... :shock:
i am a in the verge of being band !!!!
i have been seeding my a!@% off the hole month .....
and just for a moment my stats went up but then

there was a chance my f#$%& ISP used a transparent proxy,so i sent an e-mail and also call them......they said that "it's not the case"!!!!

i leach a lot but also SEED too!!! believe me i'm not lying and not cheating(main page faq)!!!

please help

ps:i use bitcomet 0.82 with all the options tuned for best perf and no DHT on,my ip is dynamic.

Read the FAQ [My IP address is dynamic. How do I stay logged in?], if you still can't figure it out read this topic. If it still doesn't work by then you post again.

I seem to be having trouble connecting to the boxtorrents tracker right now. I have never had this problem with box before, however other trackers have given me the problem.

Utorrent says that the target machine actively refused me. I still have peers on the DHT thing and can still upload however I do not seem to see this on box after a few minutes and would hate to leave and see for like5 hrs to find that it was not counted and that utorrent now has an incorrect ratio leaving me unsure of how much I should upload.

My IP is not locked and I have not made any connection changes recently. I do not have a wireless router or anything like that just a plain DSL router connected to my computer. Also box does have the right IP address. Therefore I am confused as to why I am being refused. Could the tracker just be full?

Thanks for any help this has really never happened to me before on box and I did not see anything for it in the help or faq/guides section stickies.

does the uploading get counted when it comes back up? or does it not have that info and it is just lost?

As long as you don't stop the torrent until after the tracker comes back online, everything should be counted towards your ratio.

But if you stop the torrent before then, you'll lose everything...

Before people start flaming me, it's of course not good that the tracker is down! But I thought I had done something wrong or that there was a problem at my end..

At least it's something that will be sorted out in time!

None of the user pages seem to be currently displaying what they're leeching and seeding. I'm currently 50 miles away from my computer, and I wanted to see why my ratio wasn't going up as fast as it should be, but I can't see how many torrents my stupid client has decided to leech because of this.

Is the tracker down, or are you guys just making changes to that feature?

Hmmm. I'm still not seeing seeding/leeching torrents any any profiles, including my own, and I know for a fact that I'm seeding a bunch and leeching one because I checked when I was at home this weekend.

Well you, need to have logged in from your leeching/seeding computer before you start torrents for it to show up in the profile. If you log in with a different IP then it won't get counted.

I logged in from the torrenting computer before starting the torrents (I started them right after I downloaded them). I later logged in from elsewhere. Anyway, they're showing up again, so who knows what was wrong.

Will they stop showing up even if I've logged in from my torrent computer and then log in somewhere else? Does that confuse the tracker software?

I went through the troubleshoot in the first page but my ratio page still doesn't seem to be updating. Could any staff member check my ratio so that I know it's seeding properly at least? Right now my profile shows 167.67GB.

[edit] Okay, I changed to a different torrent and it's working now. I lost 2 days worth of seeding but at least it's working again.

I think it's because your IP changes. You just basically need to log in first before seeding every time.

I don't know what it was. I have a static IP so I don't think that was the problem. I'm guessing my router restarted itself but I don't know how that would effect anything.

I just stop the torrent every now and then and continue it again. Haven't had any problems thus far.
