im not sure if i am using this right sorry if thats the case i am a lil dump when it comes to this sort of thing anyways i been leavening stuff up in my bit torrent
for it to upload for 2 days i been watching it my ratio and gb thing has not seemed to go up so im trying to figure out what i am doing rong im not sure if i have been geting points yet i might be is the the only way to get the ratio up or is the just a + and or is it my bit torrent program is not working right with your site?? i am using ABC ill get me eye on it and any input or info you can get me i would love to know

Leaving your program open doesn't necessarily mean your program is doing anything. Do you see any activity in your program?

If you pause it, you only pause the traffic. Your client will still announce.

But it's a fact that the tracker goes nuts sometimes and misses small or huge parts of your total upload/download.

From what I observe, losing small/huge parts of an upload/download usually means you were sending/receiving to/from a peer who is not on the Box tracker. Sometimes these are picked up from DHT or PEX that I accidentally enabled but later disabled, though my client caches the IPs so I'm still downloading/uploading from/to those addresses.

And the other reason is tracker failure >_>

By default, DHT is disabled in the Box torrents. Though, I'm not sure if it becomes active after the intial swarm period. I believe it's the second reason and not my connection.

Okay thanks for reminding me psyren, however, I'm not convinced enough that it's me who have a problem. My uTorrent functions as it should, it's port forwarded and my ISP doesn't seem to block it. What else can be there?

It's a bit out of place, but why isn't BoxTorrent a register-to-download tracker only?

I believe the answer to that is "Because Box wants it this way".

i see it uploading but for awhile i saw no change on the website i been look real carefully and i seems it is see that i am uploading it just i have dled it just must update itself once an hour or something lol though i still have a long way to go i am stoping dl till i can get my ratio two 1. but i think that is ganna be years by the looks of it = P Ratio: 0.601 Up: 418.34 GB Down: 695.97 GB is the stats in the last 4 days i only managed to get the ratio up .005 so it ganna be a while i at the momit don't have anthing that has low seeders i ran out of room on my hard drive and cleared it now im kicking myself lol

i sometimes encounter a similar issue. i just delete the torrent i was seeding that wasnt getting recorded, go to my profile, generate a new torrent pass, and re-download the torrent.

oh ok well it looks like i been uploading 3 and my upload is going up but i cannot get it to up load that fast the be is Hayate no Gotoku but it onlu uploads at 30 no more lol so it going very slowly and i have dl way to much its ganna take a long time to catch up = (

And that's the way it is =) You give back what you take. If you don't want to hurt your ratio you can always download from other public trackers. Not going to discuss the ethics of ratio-maintaining on public trackers since that's a totally different issue.
