2 groups, TSuNDeRe(28.7GB) and RUELL-Raws(14.63GB) 1080p only. It doesn't really come with fabulous TS and/or OPED-TL because it was mostly hardsubbed

TSunDeRe uses Yuurisan's subs, it may or may not have OP/ED TL and some missing TS. (6,473 kbps, 10bit, AAC 296kbps)

RUELL-Raws uses GG subs. (~2,588 kbps, FLAC ~680 kbps) (downloading)

You forgot about QTS. They released 720p raws (~14 GB), which can be offered with external subs.

Huge? Really? 460-650MB per episode is large but certainly not insane for a 720p Blu-ray encode. There are 720p encodes already on BakaBT (for example, this one) with episodes sizes going all the way up to 1GB. If anything I'd say the RUELL-Raws encode is probably undersized for 1080p.

Speaking of disc releases, were the DVD versions ever considered? We just have gg's TV release in Group C, and there are rips out there by Cloud (gg subs) and E-D/Arigatou (R1 subs).

Seriously doubt the show was animated at above 720p considering its age, making all these 1080p encodes entirely pointless. Especially since Madhouse is still mastering stuff at 720p.

True, the show may not have been animated above 720p, but 1080p encodes are not entirely pointless.

Upscales are only considered if the other releases are significantly worse which I seriously doubt will happen.

Unfortunately, the mods don't seem too keen on enforcing the "no upscales" policy with 1080p BD encodes lately.

Assuming they didn't screw it up with bad filtering, I'm guessing QTS will be the best of the lot anyway, judging from the file specs on AniDB.

I don't know if it's laziness or agenda-based subbing that spurs re-releasers to leave out song and text translations even when they're readily available. Anyway, Cloud's DVD version of gg's subs can be found here, though I don't know how they'll line up with other raws:

I take it back, it does not line up on every episode, TS is broken: QTS with Cloud-Subs 1, 2, 3, Ruell-Raws with gg subs 1, 2, 3.
