OK, now I've been able to look at the picture properly, I can see it isn't a 9 or a b. It might still be a 6, but a g does look most likely. However, the angle is totally wrong. It was not written by the victim. Had the victim written it, it would be angled such that the bottom of the letter were facing them, which it is not, no matter which way up you assume it goes. Which leaves two possibilities:
1) It was written by the killer in an attempt to mislead us.
2) It is actually irrelevant. The picture is actually not of the victim, and is just a stock photo (as Tiffs suggested), or some similar set of circumstances.
If it is option one, then that suggests that those people whose names begin with g (or 6) are likely to be innocent, not guilty. If option 2, then it means nothing, and we should base nothing on it.
As for the photo of Mistgun, it also cannot be showing the killer. Why? Simply because it is too obvious. There is no way Tiff would effectively tell us who the killer is like that. It would make for an incredibly short game, and take all the fun out of it. So that picture is not a picture of the killer.
But equally, would she have gone to all the effort of photoshopping it into the picture if it didn't mean something? Quite possibly, but quite possibly not. We can probably assume it means something, just nothing quite so obvious as people seem to think it does.
So, all that said, who do I think is the killer? I now have absolutely no idea. The clues from today's news have been proven to be inconclusive, and we can no longer really guess who the killer is based on their posting frequency or similar habits. All we have is a shortlist of possible suspects.
Therefore, I'll leave my vote as it is for now, for want of a better choice, but if people come up with an organised plan for who to vote for from that list (minus mistgun, who is unlikely to be the killer, as I've shown), I'll join in and change my vote appropriately to match.
