Is it possible to login to the bakabt forums from different IP addresses?

If a certain IP address already holds a bakabt user, can I log in to the forums with my own account, or would this cause a ban as well??

I ask this because logging in to the forum is separate than logging in to the actual website. And it shouldn't really matter about logging into the forums from different IPs (if I think about it). Just want to be careful is all

You can also browse the site from different IPs, just don't download the same torrent from a different IP at the same time, or an IP of another user.

Well, at least not without talking to BakaBT staff on the IRC support channel first.  This can sometimes be OK, if prearranged; it comes up when more than one user is behind the same router, for example.

So I can browse the site while logged in to my own account on a different IP address if I talk to a BakaBT mod? Is that correct? I just can't be downloading from two separate IPs for the same torrent file.

No, IPs don't matter that much, however it's not advisable to use your tracker account from places that have other BakaBT users as well as public computers.
What Krudda mentioned is that you shouldn't seed/leech same torrents from different places at the same time. And lastly Bozobub mentioned that if the place you're planning on using has another BakaBT user behind the same router you should come to #bakabt-support, if it's just a different location/IP without any BBT users that are known to you (friends/co-workers/roommates), you may may safely disregard that.
