Actually the way I see it, he made an excellent sarcastic point. In USA specifically nobody ever focuses on ethnicity as long as the perpetrator is white. However they never ever forget to mention the ethnicity of blacks and hispanics. So yeah, while you see words like "Mexican" in headlines of newspaper, you will never see "British" in the same sircumstances.

Is it that hard to believe. It was only 40 years ago that the United states broke its racial lines with African Americans. So anyone in a position of news/power was around during that time they have different thoughts/views on the issues. So yes the news is still very racially motivated if it can be.

The amount of attention people everywhere are giving his "manifesto" is a bad thing only because it is being unfortunately sensationalized.

The guy was receiving therapy and was also investigated by the police earlier. They didn't think he was capable of any sort of crime apparently. The crime could probably have been prevented with a better understanding of his mental/emotional state. These kind of documents could probably be a good source to understand and prevent similar tendencies in other people.

Not using it as research material for preventative means and such is completely different then what at least I was talking about,I meant just the average person reading this and it becoming a some kind of "cult book" (think like a cult movie. you know small but devoted fans.) as that could lead to influencing others to do similar things.
