Excited because of one thing: Crytek.

They know how to make solid FPSs, and it'll look fucking amazing to boot.

Never did play the first Homefront, but I'm interested in the alternate, implausible future of North Koreans attacking and kicking ass.  ;D

That's why I thought the new Wolfenstein was so awesome. Alternate history is awesome.

Well up till now crytek never tried to do something outside their scope of expertise, which is amazing graphics. Shooters are simple enough to employ great graphics easily.

IMO, they're more than amazing graphics. Crysis 3 really stands out as their best game, in my opinion. Great storytelling, and incredibly fun gameplay to boot. They're most known for graphic fidelity, but they've really also gotten the gameplay down. It's fun to be hunting down soldiers, disappearing, coming from all sides. Probably the closest I've felt to being a predator.

I can definitely see their expertise working on this kind of game, that's why I am looking forward to what new gameplay features they can bring. Also, I wouldn't complain if they brought the Goliath back. ;D

The first Homefront kind of...sucked.

So, not really sure if I care about a sequel.
