It's probably just expensive because it's a fan favorite.
Around the same level as the hype over the gen 3 remakes that are coming (which I'm sure will end up overpriced like the gen 2 remakes in 4 years).

Eh, it was probably the weirdest power I remember. (I watched it as it aired, over 7 years, waiting week by week...)
Didn't like the fullbringer arc much tbh.

That's not unique to Bleach. Most shounen action anime/manga has some silly shit in it.
