I spent $50 USD on a used game that came out 4 years ago (nearing 5) for the Nintendo DS.
Someone please tell me there's a good reason that HeartGold/SoulSilver are priced so high, and that I wasn't just ripped off by gamestop.

If it's the same sort of price for that set of games in three continents MAYBE it's ACTUALLY just more expensive for some reason like tyler originally asked. If he was being ripped off like your stated it would be cheaper everywhere else.

Maybe it's just the pokemon game people don't like to part with?

You misunderstood. When I said he got ripped off, I didn't mean because he could find it elsewhere cheaper, but rather, the game isn't worth it.

There are many games like that, 50 bucks for a 5 year old game is completely not worth the money.
After 5 years, it's worth is around 10$-15$ max. It's so expensive probably because not many people bought it and they want to make some money on it.
Goggle that game with youtube keyword to see vids and then make a decision if it's worth or not. Maybe you'll find something.
Also take note that HandHeld consoles games are usually overpriced no matter how old they get.

It's probably just expensive because it's a fan favorite.

Around the same level as the hype over the gen 3 remakes that are coming (which I'm sure will end up overpriced like the gen 2 remakes in 4 years).

Eh, it was probably the weirdest power I remember. (I watched it as it aired, over 7 years, waiting week by week...)

I finished Bleach earlier this morning but wow that last season was the worst in the entire series, including filler seasons. They should have ended it on the previous arc instead. God, that was dumb...

I didn't mind a lot of the filler, what pissed me off was the timing of it.
