I dunno, dying hair black and getting a breast surgery to match the original. Might work, with some more enhanced CGi to compensate the fact that they don't really look alike.

I should think the lesson we all learned from The Dark Knight is that characters from comics/etc. can be open to interpretation and still be successful.
You don't honestly want to watch a live action of GitS that is just a carbon copy of the anime, do you? :unsure:

So, after finishing Attack on Titan I have no idea why I reminded Tatsu of Annie... Looks-wise I look more like Krista and personality-wise I'm more like Mikasa.

While comic books characters per se are sometimes successful in live action, remind me when a manga/anime adaptation into live action was successful ?
I don't recall.
Also one has to remember that GitS does have nudity in it. Today I don't think the adaptation would be as successful as anyone thinks of THAT particular title whence Major Kusanagi treats her body only as a useful tool and vessel and truth be told she wears clothes not to bother others. While I would like to see Johansson truly naked, I don't think anyone would do a nude shot just like that for a manga adaptation, and there are just so many things that can and probably will go wrong with that Live Action it will have a very heavy impact on her career once it does fail.
GitS is also quite gory ion a few situations and especially teh later part of the story is quite hard to copy into Live Action. So while I actually would like to see a proper adaptation of it. I don't think it will be a faithful one. Most likely it will be yet another universe.

Mikasa ... Although you can make great murder games, which I miss but have to patiently wait, though I'm not checking the game thread, I don't think you have what it takes to be like Mikasa. Maybe from looks, but not the character.
Damn it, Steam has a nice sale for X-Com Enemy Within and atm I'm not having cash to spare, well I do but I'm waiting for something to arrive.
