Does anyone know how to fix this problem? The Mp3 files I download to my android tablet keep giving the error "the player doesn't support this type of audio file" how do I fix this? Even downloading the Vlc player app doesn't work.

Why would VLC help with audio files? Try another audio player instead?

Vlc is an everything player, kura....

Run a mediainfo scan on the files meo. Post the text data.

I'd have still said a dedicated audio player is going to work better though, or at least should be one of the first things you try.

Naturally, but I assume meomix had a dual-purpose for choosig VLC.

Whatever the case, I bet it's probably a copyright restriction. Are the MP3's from iTunes? You need to remove DRM first, or nothing will recognize them except iTunes with your license key proving you own the file.

If the files names contain even a single chinese or japanese or any other special character the system will not recognize it.
It's a common problem.

Edit: It's the bloody tablet, something is corrupting the mp3's when they are downloaded from the browser, i downloaded the mp3's through copy (file synchronization app) and they worked fine.
