I'm also amused by the proposed airline sanctions since it would hurt the Russian economy worse than that of Europe.

Yeah it will, and also the airline sanctions are supposed to prevent more spying on Russia activities around Ukraine borders.

Not that I care, but Russia will likely invade Ukraine under the pretext of peaceful intervention.
Either the world will finally strike at Russia once they do that or no one does anything and Russia continues on.
Although Australia announced their own sanctions today.
