Mimishiki19:
Last game that advertised itself as 3D that I played was Duke Nukem.

blackhole:
I was so hyped for DN Forever, and was so utterly disappointed.

I've also got a game here called "Limbo" that is supposedly 3D capable, but there's no option in the menu and the fucking indie game has no manual. How do I try it in 3D?

Yes I'm positive it has 3D, or else the box wouldn't say so and supply 3D glasses.

You need a 120Hz TV for 3D to work IIRC. Perhaps it just hides the option if it can't detect one.

As for me... I've only seen a few 3D films over the years (Spy Kids 3D, some 3D film thing at Legoland, and most recently Silent Hill (Which was shit btw, as you probably expect)), but every time I've never quite been able to tell if they're actually in 3D and it's just a really subtle effect, or if my eyes are just playing tricks on me. It certainly doesn't seem big enough to be worth all the hype, or the extra expense.

I am not sure if I understand, but it's always your eyes playing tricks on you. The movie is played on a surface.

Yeah, I could have phrased that better. What I mean is, I can't really tell if it's actually in 3D or not. Which probably means there's not really any difference.

Actually, I think more likely it's that I can see the 3D effect if I look in just the right way, but not otherwise, or something. I have a squint, which has always made things like that pretty difficult.
