Well, probably you had it televised through another station, but I do remember the original Supercampeones, with Oliver Atom, Tom Misaki, etc.

no, but i guess that show is pretty similar...

actually i don't know if this series was ever translated into english (ANN sais no).
this show has 15 main characters and a rather unusual number of episodes.
