I'm still like 99% positive it's Blade of the Immortal.

Which is actually a pretty fuckin sweet anime and it's only on it's second episode. Too bad it only is released bi-weekly.

I could be wrong though, if I were placing bets, thats where my $$ would go.

This series comes from the mind one of the legendary figures in the anime/manga industry

Damn, nah I didn't read the hints, just saw the screenshot and posted.

The artwork is similar and the hairstyle is identical to a couple chars from Blade of the Immortal.

Is this legendary figure associated with the movie Akira? Well, I guess that would give to much away.
