It's not spoofing. Well... not in the sense of Hayate.
However, it wouldn't be considered one of the "classic giant mecha anime from the 80s" either

lol yeah, the rules are as lucid to me as they are to everyone else =) but after all the game is GUESS the anime, not KNOW the anime

and you are wrong. there is only one Tokyo Tower. and there are many different types of cicada and each artist designs even the most generic things differently to some degree
