My ratio isnt updating

I am a newbie and Ive heard you need to seed torrents when you download to avoid warnings. I've seeded but for some reason my ratio isn't updating, been reading the faq but i am lost and I dont know what to do about this. please educate me because I dont want to get a warning. thanks

Are you using VPN or a proxy?

i think vpn because it says im not using any proxy servers

IIRC, VPN is a fairly common cause of ratio stats not updating properly.

AFAIK, accounts are not disabled due to bad ratio, to allow seedback. Did something else that wasn't smart?

Time to hop onto IRC and ask. Our Wiki should have instructions on how to connect.

My guess is that someone else used the same VPN service as you, which caused the tracker to think the VPN had multiple accounts.

Don't forget that BakaBT has a one-account-per-person policy.

Actually, from OP's responses, I'm at least 50% sure s/he doesn't have a VPN, either ^^' ...
