< not only shyness, but also it takes a long time for me to get used to a person( something like a month if I meet the person regulary, more if I meet them less) and so I dont speak to them as well if they dont speak to me

^ Depends on the situation I think. Usually I just say you or their name lol.

< In Vietnamese we have 2-3different ways to show respect while speaking to people who is older or who we respect alot.
