lyrics can make a song though, example, most things by relient K, their music is so generic, but their lyrics make me listen to them. songs like Mood Ring and I so hate consequences. My favorite band is Project 86 and their lyrics bring them to a much higher level.

They represent everything I think a band should be, original sound, constantly evolving that sound, deep lyrics, non conforming/ They at one point tried to break away from labels and be entirely independant, though it didn't work out in the end.

But I've met a lot, especially musicians, I was in a band for a few years and met a bunch on tour, and I also helped run a lot of gigs as well. The highlight though was meeting chuck norris along with the power team.
