< Thinking about getting a Landrover Freelander when I go to University with my student loan, but should I? The car is awesome, I can go offroading and I can carry 4 people and their PCs... but the engine is big and it struggles to make 30MPG, not good seeing as how petrol will cost a bomb, car tax is going up for petrol guzzlers and the insurance is... astronomical.

< I hate cars, 4x4's are so much more fun to be in, they're big, they're loud, they can go ANYWHERE and you can go bloody fast if you've got a good one. Plus people will love you if its icey out and you've got a tow rope. Plus your above everybody else on the road so you see more and theres MUCH more space in the car, good if your big and youve got lots of friends to carry (My friend's 3 door Landrover Defender carries upto 8 people daily in relative comfort (Illegally though, no seat belts in the back
