Today I'm getting one

I'm asking about either buying a new monitor or buying a 3 year service plan for my new computer.

Which do you think is a better idea?

it depends on what computer you are getting...If you are getting a gateway then get the 3 year service but if you are getting a HP then perhaps you don't need the service...also it depends on what monitor do you have now.

I would say get the service because you can always get a new monitor anytime

what do you think?

Dunno, but my monitor is a 20'' behemoth that's about 5 years old

I do plan on getting a gateway since they do seem to offer more for a cheaper price and the one I'm looking at has gotten good reviews....and for some reason HP doesn't give you speakers or a laser mouse(it's trackball lol)  Here's what I plan on getting: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8398771&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat39100050018&id=1179877268274

The monitor I'm looking at is $200 and the service plan is $120....what do you think I should get?

I think you buy this gateway instead since you get more for less then bestbuy

what do you think

I think that my 20% off coupon on all computers makes the bestbuy deal better

....You didn't answer my question ::)

Is 2 gb ram for Vista Premium more than enough?

I did...then I bought a new computer today.

I'm loving it though.  Got an HP with a 19'' wide screen monitor and color printer for 650(actually cost me 520 with an additional coupon).  320gb hd and 2gb ram makes me feel good inside. ;D  It's also amazingly quiet as well...compared to this one my old computer sounded like a jet engine.

You in a good mood?

Nope

Bleh, gotta read more from my Business Law book....which is lengthy and boring.

How much do you hate reading lengthy textbooks?
