yes

I'm currently doing a lot of research in islam, noticing the many many many parallels and correlations to the Bible. Like it's absolutely ridiculous how much of it goes hand in hand, though most of it is from opposing sides.

do much religious study?

Just be cool and be like water

No, the religions look a lot of the same from the top, but they are very different when it comes down to it. VERY different. Most of the parallels are really going in opposite direction, they're just in line/correlates with each other.

understand

^ in a way

< you can't compare christianity to islam as both equals, christianity is a religion, islam is a whole system for life, it has rules about everything in life, its more general than christianity and more specific

V u know?

ummmm actually I disagree

Christianity is a way of life as well. Not recognizing that means you haven't looked too much into it. In fact I would say that true christianity comes very closely to the Buddhist lifestyle. Both Islam and Christianity have the overly religious sides. But things I'm talking about now are such that many of the 99 names of Allah given in the Koran are names for Lucifer in the Bible. Many of the prophecies given in each book share the exact same details, but are on opposing sides.

Get it now?

^ I agree, but

< I also believe that christianity IS LIKE buddhism. Where both focus on spiritual and moral sides. While islam discusses more detailed things, the ways of marriage, heritage, war and peace, its even more materialistic in a way. I must say that I haven't studied neither christianity nor buddhism enough to go into more details

V clear?

Clear

But a guide like christianity gives the answers, they just not obvious. It's the eastern way of thinking as apposed to western.

Like eastern or western thinking better?
